Dementia UK
September marks World Alzheimer’s
Month and throughout the month we are
celebrating our partnership with Dementia
UK and highlighting their vital work.
Since 2021, The Openwork Foundation are
delighted to have supported Dementia UK,
donating £50,000 annually. Most recently
our support has helped to fund the role
of dementia specialist Admiral Nurse
Kensa Morgan, who works on Dementia
UK’s Helpline and in virtual clinics, offering
appointments online and by phone.

Volunteer your time

There are a range of
opportunities across the UK
for staff and advisers from
the network to give your
time to help young people
developing confidence,
entrepreneur and business
skills. There are many
‘one-off’ opportunities,
supporting events in
schools, as well as more
regular term-time volunteer
mentoring roles.
