About Over The Wall Camp
Over The Wall Camp provides activity camps for children
living with serious illness or disability, their siblings and
their parents or caregivers. Clinical staff and volunteers use
therapeutic recreation to create safe spaces for children with
complex needs, helping them explore new possibilities, have
fun with others and enjoy the childhood they deserve.
The latest grant and its impact
Our most recent £10,000 grant funded a five-day Health
Challenge & Siblings Camp, which took place in Dorset
in early 2025 for young people facing significant health
challenges and their families. The grant covered costs for the
camp including operations staff and volunteers and paid for
the venue, catering and activities such as climbing, archery
and bush craft plus essential specialist medical equipment
which were vital for the young people attending.
