Supporters get golfing!
Across the country PDMs have also been doing amazing work setting
up fantastic golf days, bringing together colleagues, advisers, clients and
providers. Launching in May with a fantastic day at the Royal Belfast
Golf Club organised by Lorraine Stevenson and Claire Nichol, raising
£2,107, followed by a Sheffield event, run by Emma Senior, raising £2,250,
and most recently a day at Drumoig, Scotland, run by Alan Ferguson
and Lorraine Stevenson, which raised an incredible £3,430.
Our final PDM-led golf days for 2024 are coming up soon in September
in Solihull and Bristol.
PIA Financial Solutions also held a fantastic inaugural Golf Day at
Brancepeth in August. The winner of the individual Stableford prize
was Charlie, who plays off 26 and who was also celebrating his 9th
birthday on the day! We believe he’s the youngest player ever to win an
Openwork Foundation golf day! Definitely one to watch!
The event raised a wonderful £2,000 for the Openwork Foundation,
which will be matched 50% by Openwork. Thank you to Nick for
organising a brilliant event.
