Our strategic charity partners
Our two current strategic charity partners are
Young Enterprise and Dementia UK. We provide
both charities with £50,000 each per year for 3
years (2024-26). We also encourage everyone in the
network to take up volunteering opportunities with
Young Enterprise and to attend the Dementia
UK-led webinars which are organised with the

There are a range of opportunities across the
UK for staff and advisers from the network to
give your time to help young people developing
confidence, entrepreneur and business skills.
There are many ‘one-off’ opportunities,
supporting events in schools, as well as more
regular term-time volunteer mentoring roles.

All sessions are scheduled to run for 1 hour from
10am-11am.
In November, Openwork and Foundation
colleagues spent an uplifting morning going
‘undercover’ as mystery shoppers and hearing
from wonderful young people about the
fantastic businesses they are setting up with the
support of Young Enterprise at their first trade
