Team Hitchell’s South Down Challenge
From the 25th of June, Richard Hitchell, James Hitchell, and Louisa
Saunders will be taking on the full 100-mile South Downs Way, cycling
from Winchester to Eastbourne.
This challenge is no small feat, the South Downs Way is 100 miles of
historic, hilly, and almost entirely off-road terrain. While Richard is no
stranger to a bike, James tells us he is definitely not a natural cyclist, so
completing this route will be a major undertaking for him!

Fantasy Football Tournament
Huge thanks to 2plan’s Graeme Stamper for organising the 2024/25
Openwork/2plan Fantasy Football Tournament and raising a fantastic
£937.50! It was an incredibly close and exciting season with 58 players
involved.
Congratulations to Tim Caldwell, who emerges as this year’s Champion,
with Sodhi Gill and Rob Denton also on the podium in second and
third places.

So far, the runners have raised
over £18,000, which will make
a real difference to vulnerable
people who are supported
through the Openwork
Foundation’s grants programmes.
Plus, the Openwork Partnership
will uplift all final fundraising
totals by 50%.
